Momentum Communications was honored to take part in Operation North Pole this year to watch a group of very special children and their families board a Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line train for a fantasy trip to the North Pole with Mrs. Claus to meet Santa.
Operation North Pole is a charity devoted to bringing the joy of the season to children suffering from life-threatening illnesses and their families by providing a fun-filled day of respite, including the train ride, breakfast with Mrs. Claus and a visit with Santa at his workshop. Operation North Pole’s goal is to alleviate the financial and emotional burdens of coping with illness for all the members of a family and provide for what for some families may be their only holiday celebration.
